Imperial Premix was established in 1960 to supply custom
vitamin mineral protein supplements to the cattle and dairy feeding industry in Southern California.
The company has grown to service the protein market by producing liquid urea
and has delved into the emissions control industry by producing a pure form of
liquid urea called nox-out. The Imperial Premix facilities consist of three mills covering the Beef, Dairy
and Liquid Protein markets. Rusty Pedersen has been in the feed business for the last
forty years and is familiar with all aspects of the cattle feeding industry. Ray Pedersen came
on board in 1992 to manage the beef and dairy plants and develop the liquid
urea market.
